Brave Collectables are offering for sale within the U. Only, this classic but still cool, 18 carat yellow gold cased, vintage Universal Geneve wristwatch. Overall, the watch is in very good vintage condition.

It does not come with any form of guarantee however, as there is no available service history for it. The watch is an excellent example of a classic, luxury, vintage timepiece cased in yellow 18 carat gold. Due to its case size of about 30 mm, it could be worn by a man or a woman. The watch features a clear, uncluttered and very attractive face. Its two hands appear as an exquisite butterfly blue colour in strong light, otherwise they appear as black.

The hands also contrast well against the off white colour of the face. There are some minor age related flecks on the hands. This is a pre-owned, classic vintage watch from circa 1958 which shows little sign of wear. Some minor wear is visible on the case and the acrylic crystal.

The watch is in overall good working order for its age and currently sets and winds as it should. It is powered by a 17 jewel movement marked Universal Geneve and Swiss. The Universal Geneve name appears clearly on the watch's face, its movement and on the case back inner.

The case back inner is also stamped for 18 carat gold using Swiss marks, as is one of the lugs. Two numbers appear on the case back, that is, 18819/1 and 1957099. The watch is attached to a black strap marked "GENUINE LEATHER". The watch comes together with a Universal Geneve box which does show some age related signs of wear. The watch is not water resistant.
