It's silver finish allows the black Roman numerals to punch out, there is a separate seconds counter at 9pm with the classic pocket watch hands hands that are blued in the original technique. The 7 jewel movement is gold frosted and is very clean and dated to 1918 with a beak head regulator (7 jewels were nor generally engraved). The case Dimensions = 47mm across x 15mm depth x length 59mm all approx with a 20 mm leather strap. This is a converted pocket watch movement of very good quality.
This lead to their being thousands of excellent quality movement, hands and dial watches left without cases. Remember that there have been quite a few pocket watch movements used in wrist watches over the years... The Luftwaffe Bhur watches for one and even Panerai originally used Cortebert movements and Unitas even in the 90's. These early watches do not have shock protection and must not be dropped. Due to their age and the original use of these watches there are minor marks to be found on the cases which add to their vintage look without detracting from the quality, view the pictures for clarification.
