Vintage 9ct Gold Gents Rolex Wristwatch 1953/4

  

Hello this listing is for a very nice condition Vintage 9ct Gold Gents Rolex Wristwatch. Manufactured 1953/54, the stamped United Kingdom hall mark date is D, 1953/54. In very good working condition, keeping good time.

Super balance type movement, signed Rolex, 15 rubis, case and frame numbers match. Dimensions are 32mm Wide with winder. Length 38mm, fits strap 16mm wide.

Supplied with a black vintage strap, leather, possibly lizard unused. The 9ct gold fully hallmarked case was made by Dennison, what was referred to as a contract case.

These cases were made on behalf of Rolex in England in 9 ct gold by Dennison. They also made cases for several other watch companies, as most other countries were 14ct gold at least, 50% gold, or above in specification.
