Rare Vintage Cyma /Tavannes Cymaflex - Oversize Mens - Manual Wind Watch Cal 586 K - In Running State. Swiss Made - 1950's. Exceptional in-house mechanical movement Cyma Ref: 586K.

Manufactured by TAVANNES, with nº 244168. Free lever escapement, bimetallic balance, split and compensated. The shock protection is "Cymaflex" system, wherein the cap jewel is held in place via a flexible arm as shown in this ad from a 1954 Reader's Digest. Breguet hairspring, Cote de Geneve, Decorated big 17Jewels, Signed. Superb Guilloche style dial, with beautiful Patina. Arabic numerals and traces for the hours, traces for the minutes, original spear-type hands! Second's hand at Six. Chrome case in good condition. Diameter 37.5 mm without crown. Light wear to the case and acrylic and dial is in great condition.

The black leather belt is used but can still be worn. Winds and ticks away smoothly! This watch for sale has been completely overhauled professionally in March 2019. Completely disassembled all parts of the mechanism cleaned in the ultrasonic bath, freshly greased, and precision adjusted to the vibrograph timegrapher.
