Brave Collectables are offering this fine, 9 carat gold ROLWATCO manual wind women's wristwatch for sale within the U. The watch is currently working.

It is an extremely attractive, vintage wristwatch that has butterfly blue hands when the light shines on them and gold coloured minute dot markers. The hands stand out well against the white enamel face. The face of the watch also has Arabic hour markers and a subsidiary dial at the 6 o' clock position. The case measures approximately 25 mm across. The watch is about 96 years old but is in good condition for its age.

It is is a manual wind vintage watch and as such does not have the accuracy of a modern quartz watch. It currently shows a slight drift of a minute or so per day which is considered acceptable for a watch of its age.

It is currently ticking, setting and winding as it should. There are some age related marks on the watch case opening lip, the hands and the acrylic crystal. There are some minor cracks on the enamel dial/face at about the 10 o' clock position. All wear and scuffs are best seen under magnification.

The watch is attached to a black leather strap which is in very good condition, showing minimal wear. It is stamped "GENUINE LEATHER" and has a gold coloured buckle. The case inner is stamped R. Ltd which stands for ROLEX WATCH COMPANY Limited. ROLWATCO was a sub brand of ROLEX in circa 1920. The watch carries the ROLWATCO branding on its face, its case inner and on its movement.

The watch is fully hallmarked for 9 carat gold on one of its case sides and on the case inner and is powered by a 15 jewel Swiss made movement. It is not water resistant. This is a fine, iconic vintage watch from a by-gone era.
